Video: Hasan Minhaj spills the secrets of the cruise industry

Hasan Minhaj, an American comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, and television host. Best known for his Netflix show Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj.

In august 2019 Hasan published a video on his youtube channel “The real cost of cruise”, in his video he had raised a lot of questions from exploitation of crew members to ocean pollution and uncoverd the dark side of cruise industry.

Three cruise companies – Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian Cruise Line – control almost 80% of the $50 billion cruise industry market. In his episode, Minhaj throws light on how these companies are registered in other countries, even though headquartered in the US, to avoid paying due taxes.
